The problem most Etsy sellers don't track
- Revenue looks good. Then you subtract Etsy fees, payment processing, shipping, materials, packaging, labor, and ads — and the number left is often much smaller.
- Many sellers have no clear view of which products are profitable after the costs and fees they can identify and record.
- Offsite ads, transaction fees, and processing fees eat into every order — but they're easy to forget when you're looking at your bank balance.
- Costs change over time. A product that was profitable last year may not be at today's material and shipping rates — unless you track the change.
What the tracker does
You enter your orders and costs. The tracker calculates your profit after the costs and fees you've recorded — per order, per month, and per product.
It estimates Etsy fees using the rates you set, and lets you override them with your actual Etsy fees when you have them from your Etsy Payment Account. The spreadsheet shows which fees were used.
It tracks your costs over time — when materials, packaging, or labor costs change, you add a new cost record with a new date. The tracker knows which costs applied to which orders.
It shows your profit per product after the recorded costs and fees allocated by the tracker, so you can compare what different products contribute.
It includes a pricing calculator that suggests an item price based on your costs, shipping, fees, and the margin you want to target.
Order recording
Record one order at a time, with all the details that matter: item revenue, shipping charged, actual shipping cost, sales tax, and offsite ads rate.
Actual fee override
Enter your actual Etsy fees when you have them. The tracker uses actual fees over estimates, and tells you which was used.
Cost history over time
Costs change. Add a new cost record with a new effective date — the tracker knows which costs applied to which orders. No overwriting old records.
Profit per product
Compare products using the recorded costs and fees allocated by the tracker — not just sales volume.
Pricing calculator
Enter your costs, shipping, fees, and target margin. Get a suggested item price to help you think about what to charge.
Reconciliation checks
Status indicators help confirm that the tracker's calculations reconcile and that you're within the prepared template capacity.

Who this is for
- US Etsy sellers earning in USD.
- Sellers with roughly 500 to 10,000 lifetime sales — making real revenue, but who want to know what they actually keep.
- Owner-operated or small-team shops making physical, handmade products with real material, packaging, shipping, and labor costs.
- Sellers who are tired of guessing and want a clear view of profit per order and per product.
Honest limitations — V1
- US Etsy sellers in USD only. Fee rates reflect US Etsy Payments. Sellers in other countries should wait for a version for their fee structure.
- You enter the data — it does not connect to Etsy or import orders automatically.
- It does not handle refunds, returns, or cancellations automatically. Review those separately in your Etsy Payment Account.
- It is not an accounting system and does not produce tax-ready financial statements.
- It shows profit after the costs and fees you've recorded — not a complete picture of every possible cost.
- V1 has capacity for 100 order rows and 100 product-line rows. Check whether it can be extended before relying on it for a higher volume of orders.

By purchasing or using Etsy Profit Tracker, you agree to these terms.
Product and delivery
Etsy Profit Tracker is a digital Google Sheets template for manually recording orders, costs, fees, shop expenses, and calculated profit. After a successful purchase, you receive an Access Guide PDF immediately. A personalized, buyer-specific Google Sheets access link is normally prepared and emailed within 24 hours to the email address supplied with your order. You may be asked to confirm the Google account that should receive access.
License and permitted use
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tracker for your own business or one Etsy shop. You may make working copies for that permitted use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share publicly, or provide the template or its formulas to another person or business.
Accuracy and responsibilities
The tracker calculates results from the information and settings you enter. You are responsible for entering complete and accurate data and checking the tracker against your Etsy Payment Account and business records. The tracker is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice; it does not replace professional advice or official records. No particular profit, margin, sales result, or business outcome is guaranteed.
Compatibility and availability
The product is designed for Google Sheets and for US Etsy sellers operating in USD. Etsy, Google, and their services are operated independently, and their availability or future changes are outside our control. Etsy Profit Tracker is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc. or Google LLC.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the information reasonably needed to process your order, deliver the product, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
Information collected
- Your name, email address, country, order reference, and the Google account used for delivery.
- Messages and information you voluntarily provide when requesting support.
- Transaction status and purchase details supplied by the checkout provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
How information is used and shared
Your information is used to fulfill your purchase, verify the buyer-specific license, respond to support and refund requests, prevent fraud or unauthorized distribution, and comply with legal requirements. It may be processed by service providers necessary for checkout, payment, email, website hosting, and Google Sheets delivery. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and your choices
Order and support records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance. You may request access to or correction or deletion of eligible personal information by emailing varunkhanduja23@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Because this is a digital product with immediate access materials and a personalized template, orders generally cannot be cancelled or refunded after the digital product has been delivered.
When a refund may be considered
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- You did not receive the promised Access Guide or personalized template link and the delivery issue cannot be resolved.
- The delivered file is inaccessible, materially defective, or materially different from the product described on this page and we cannot correct the issue.
Contact varunkhanduja23@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase with your order email, order reference, and a description of the issue. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on the payment provider and your bank.
Cancellations
If you request cancellation before the personalized Google Sheets copy has been prepared or delivered, we will review the request. Once digital delivery has occurred, the refund conditions above apply. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
